For Abdi İbrahim, social responsibility efforts constitute an indispensable part of the company’s core activities. The company provides support and raises awareness through employee volunteerism, which forms a significant portion of the company’s social responsibility initiatives.

DEndeavoring to heal the future and the lives it touches, Abdi İbrahim’s “Hayatı İyileştirenler” team supports various volunteer projects. Member of the Abdi İbrahim family take part in support, aid, and awareness raising activities, which allow them to spend time together outside of work and experience the pride of collaborating in important social support campaigns.

Abdi İbrahim’s Hayatı İyileştirenler team ran in the 38th Eurasia Marathon in support of the “There Are Children Inside” project, which was launched to provide education opportunities for children residing in prison with their mothers.

Raising TL 71,000 in donations during the marathon, Abdi İbrahim came first among the supporters of the project and ranked in the top 10 among companies that participated on behalf of various NGOs as part of the Step-by-Step Platform. The funds raised will be used to build a daycare center for children residing with their mothers in the Adana Karataş Women’s Correctional Facility.

The project is developed by the Youth Re-autonomy Foundation of Türkiye with the conviction that all children are entitled to equal opportunities in education. Developed for children residing with their mothers who are in prison, the project aims to improve the education and learning environment of around 500 such children who are currently living in Turkish correctional facilities.

Abdi İbrahim employees collect books for donation to schools around the country throughout the year, especially before the beginning of the academic year. Abdi İbrahim employees have turned this donation into a tradition, guided by the belief that fostering a love of reading in children, who represent our future, is essential for a brighter tomorrow.
