Environmental Policy 

Abdi İbrahim Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Complex manufactures solid, liquid, semi-solid pharmaceuticals and biotechnological drugs, and carries out research and development and quality control activities.

Abdi İbrahim Pharmaceuticals bases its environmental policy on the principles of environmental protection, sustainable development, continuous improvement, reducing the use of natural resources and the environmental impact of its activities in accordance with national and international standards and laws while performing all of its activities.

Along the value chain within this policy framework;

Abdi İbrahim Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Complex manufactures solid, liquid, semi-solid pharmaceuticals and biotechnological drugs, and carries out research and development and quality control activities.

Abdi İbrahim Pharmaceuticals bases its Occupational Health and Safety Policy on the principles of protecting the health of employees in all its activities in line with national and international standards, improving OHS performance in all its processes and providing a sustainable safe working environment with the participation of employees.

Along the value chain within this policy framework;

- Ensure the necessary communication activities to meet the needs and expectations on OHS,

- Reduce risks by identifying hazards in the work environment,

Information Security Policy

Abdi İbrahim is aware that one of the most important conditions for its reputation in the industry and its service continuity is to protect information in a timely, accurate, best and appropriate manner.

The main responsibilities of the Company in respect of the protection of information assets are as follows:

- Defining the information assets belonging to our organization,

- Protecting the information of our personnel and of all our stakeholders,

- Ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of information assets

- Only using information assets for the purposes determined by the management,

- Upholding the organization’s security policies and rules,

- Ensuring that information security standards and processes are updated,

- Maintaining up-to-date employee awareness on information security through regular training,

- Conducting regular reviews of internal and external risks concerning information security, and taking necessary measures as revealed through risk analyses.

In all of its operations, Abdi İbrahim strives to identify potential risks that may cause business interruptions, take measures against such risks and drive Business Continuity.

To serve this end, Abdi İbrahim commits to.

- Developing a Business Continuity Management System (BCMS), designing relevant operational processes and keeping them up to date,

- Ensuring continuity of activities at predefined acceptable levels in case of an incident or a significant business interruption,

- Centrally coordinating crisis and emergency management operations,

- Improving business continuity plans with regular trainings, awareness-raising activities and tests/drills.

Policy Procedures to Combat Counterfeit Drugs and Illegal Medicines Removed from the Lawful Supply Chain

In accordance with the Abdi İbrahim Pharmaceuticals Quality Policy, we engage in all our drug manufacture and marketing-promotion & sales operations in full compliance with all legislation. We always act with the awareness of our responsibility to fight against all counterfeit and illegal medicines or drugs that have been removed from the lawful supply chain.

It is with this awareness that our policy includes preventive operations and controls as a part of its Procedures to Combat Counterfeit Drugs and Illegal Medicines Removed from the Lawful Supply Chain.

Within the framework of this policy, we commit ourselves to the following and announce to the public that we:

- Work with the national and international authorities in matters pertaining to combating the spread of said drugs.

- Investigate all reports and complaints concerning such drugs and notify the national/international authorities.

- Take the necessary measures to prevent counterfeiting of drugs during manufacturing processes and ensure that fake products are easily identified.

- Conduct regular research to identify such medicines;

- Conduct informative and cautionary activities, in particular with the pharmaceutical warehouses with which we conduct business.

- Inform all our employees and stakeholders about the issue of fighting against the circulation of these drugs.

Abdi Ibrahim Pharmaceuticals acts in accordance with the laws and ethical standards in all its activities. The key basis of its procurement policy, in all its procurement processes, is to ensure that suppliers and stakeholders adopt a sustainable procurement approach and to create a supply chain which is built on the basis of the law, ethical values and transparency, while taking into account environmental and social impacts. To this end, the suppliers of Abdi Ibrahim Pharmaceuticals are obliged to comply with applicable legislation on information security, anti-corruption, competition, child labor and forced labor, environment, and occupational health and safety. In addition, critical suppliers are expected to make reports to the Abdi İbrahim Pharmaceuticals Supplier Sustainability Assessment Platform within the specified period.
