With more than 30 years of experience and knowledge in the pharmaceutical industry, Bilgen completed her undergraduate education at the Middle East Technical University Department of Business Administration. She started her career at Pfizer, serving in various managerial positions for extended periods of time. She then served as Diabetes Products Sales and Marketing Director at Sanofi, Business Operations Director at MSD, Sales and Marketing Director at Sandoz and Director of the Cardiovascular Business Unit at Abbott, respectively. Figen Bilgen joined the Abdi İbrahim family as Sales and Marketing Director in 2017 and continued to serve as Group Director of General Treatments from 2021 to 2023. She was appointed as President, Prescription Products Sales and Marketing in October 2023.
