He graduated from Istanbul University, Department of Business Administration and completed his MBA at University of Nottingham in 1998. Darman started his career at Marjinal Menkul Değerler in 1990, followed by Kanal Market TV, Kanal 6 Broadcasting and Tekstil Bank. In 2002, he served as financial analyst at Eczacıbaşı Holding. Having taken office in various roles in Eczacıbaşı Group, he was transferred to Abdi İbrahim as financial control manager. He has been serving as the President, Finance and Growth since 2012.
